Don't miss the conclusion of Closing Credits: An End-of-Life Film Series with a a very special screening of The Last Ecstatic Days! Each film in the series offers a deep dive into different facets of the complex, beautiful, and humbling realm of death and dying.
Immerse yourself in one man's powerful journey to willingly and intentionally confront death using social media to share his journey with the masses. The Last Ecstatic Days is a profound and life-altering expose on life and death.
Join us in The Center at Belvedere's Auditorium A for the screening, followed by an engaging discussion led by experts from Hospice of the Piedmont, Panorama Natural Burial, and Woven Roots Collective. This is an opportunity to share your thoughts about the film, contemplate living and dying, discuss options for end-of-life care, and better understand after-death practices, funerals, and burials. This is a partner program with Gordon Avenue Library.
The film series will culminate in the second annual Death Fest: Gather, Grieve Grow, an all-day community gathering to explore the natural cycles of life and death on Sunday, Nov 3, at Montfair Resort Farm in White Hall, VA.
Closing Credits is a collaborative effort by Hospice of the Piedmont, Panorama Natural Burial, and Woven Roots Collective to foster open conversations about life's final chapter. Other films in the series include:
